1932 the motor was sold for $79, and was named Model 79 for that reason.
The first version had the curved tube exhaust. Then in early 1933 Caille added the underwater exhaust trumpet and still sold the motor for $79.
Then sometime in 1933 the adjusted the price of the motor to $88, thus creating the Model 88.
